Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails/Vue.js)

What you will do

• Design and build secure, scalable full-stack systems across Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Own features from API design and data modeling through rich customer-facing experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, testing, security, observability, and performance improvements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and pairing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Success to deliver measurable product outcomes.
• Use AI-assisted development tools, respond to production incidents, and contribute to post-incident improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful full-stack scope.
• Strong Ruby on Rails experience, including ActiveRecord, background jobs, API design, and service-oriented patterns.
• Strong JavaScript skills covering SPA architecture, component design, state management, and frontend performance.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs with versioning, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Solid relational database fundamentals, especially MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience owning complex projects, contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and working in cross-functional Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Vue.js, Node.js, AWS, OpenSearch, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or building AI-powered product features.
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with marketing or customer engagement platforms, B2B SaaS, high-volume transaction systems, or data privacy regulations.
