Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Vue.js/Java)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Remote work may require travel to the Washington, DC corporate office at least 3–4 times per year.

Salary: $158,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and enhance applications supporting rights tracking, payment processing, data processing, and business operations.
• Own features across Vue.js front-end interfaces and Java/Spring Boot backend services.
• Design, develop, test, and support data-driven solutions within Agile engineering teams.
• Author and review code, participate in architecture decisions, and communicate technical challenges and solutions.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and improve engineering standards and practices.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of software engineering experience with hands-on full-stack development.
• Vue.js, including Vue 3, Composition API, state management, and Vite; experience with TypeScript or equivalent front-end technologies.
• Java with Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate, SQL with PostgreSQL, and experience with AWS services.
• Experience with front-end testing, responsive and accessible interfaces, performant UI techniques, Terraform or infrastructure as code, and event-based systems.
• Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models, plus familiarity with distributed systems or microservices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and Agile development experience.

Nice to have

• Equivalent experience with modern front-end or backend stacks.
• Experience with additional front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
