Senior Full Stack Engineer (C#/Vue)

Location: Fully remote for I-9 eligible candidates in the United States; travel may be required for company offsites.

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 USD base per year, with bonus and equity eligibility.

Allocate is building an operating system for private markets used by wealth advisors and their clients to access, transact in, and manage private market investments.

What you will do

• Build end-to-end product features across Postgres schemas, C#/.NET APIs, Vue interfaces, and TypeScript.
• Create rich, reliable, and secure experiences for client-facing and administrative portals.
• Design performant database schemas, indexes, REST endpoints, and scalable backend services.
• Partner with product and design to develop and refine advisor workflows.
• Use Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other AI coding tools throughout development, review, and delivery.
• Own ambiguous problems from scoping through production deployment within an autonomous Agile squad.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience building web applications and at least 5 years of object-oriented software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of C#, 2 years of REST API development, 3 years of Vue.js, and 1 year of TypeScript experience.
• At least 5 years working with SQL databases, ideally Postgres, including performant schema design.
• Experience with ASP.NET Web API, ORM concepts such as Dapper or Entity Framework, and FluentMigrator.
• Experience shipping production code with AI agents and familiarity with AWS services, Git, Docker, CI pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
• Must be I-9 eligible to work in the United States. A computer science degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with async coding agents, MCP integrations, or custom LLM tooling.
• Experience with Terraform, ECS/EKS, Docker Compose, and broader DevOps practices.
