Jr Software Developer (DevSecOps)

Salary: $92,700–$139,000 per year for Colorado Springs, CO

What you will do

• Develop secure, end-to-end Kubernetes- and Docker-based cluster and application lifecycles.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitOps deployment automation, and DevSecOps practices.
• Design containerized and cloud-native solutions with internal teams and clients.
• Develop applications and automation scripts using technologies including Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Use AWS services, infrastructure as code, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, and service-mesh technologies to improve reliability and scalability.
• Manage logging, analytics, testing, networking, and secure cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or above is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience developing web-based applications and 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB; HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI.
• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, networking, logging, and analytics tools.
• Experience with AWS, scripting, integration and unit testing, test-driven development, and infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Custom Helm chart development and big data experience.
• Data visualization with Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
• Service-mesh experience with Istio.
• Additional experience with Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Vue, or Angular.
