TL;DR
Engineering Manager (Frontend) (JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue/Nuxt): Leading development of high-traffic landing pages and content platforms serving millions of visitors across multiple locales with an accent on web performance, technical SEO, experimentation, and AI adoption. Focus on designing frontend architectures, improving Core Web Vitals and conversion, building reliable delivery workflows, and developing the engineering team.
Location: Hybrid in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania, with the option to work from home or anywhere in the world.
Salary: Gross salary starting from €7,000/month, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Own the architecture, design, development, deployment, and continuous operation of landing pages and content platforms.
- Lead, hire, mentor, and develop a team of frontend-focused engineers through feedback, growth planning, and performance management.
- Drive planning, estimation, roadmap alignment, delivery discipline, fast release cycles, preview environments, and CI/CD.
- Improve web performance and technical SEO across 30+ locales through Core Web Vitals, edge caching, SSR, hreflang, code splitting, and lazy hydration.
- Lead experimentation and conversion optimization using A/B testing, GA4, Amplitude, and analytics.
- Maintain product reliability with observability, code reviews, testing practices, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Leadership experience including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience improving team delivery and working with high-traffic, multi-locale consumer web products.
- Extensive JavaScript and TypeScript experience with a modern frontend framework; Vue and Nuxt with SSR are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of state management, web performance, technical SEO, analytics, experimentation, and system architecture.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Git, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on use of AI and agentic engineering tools, strong communication skills, and a business-impact mindset.
Nice to have
- Backend or full-stack experience with Node and NestJS.
- Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, AWS, or Cloudflare.
- Experience building LLM-powered features.
