Head of Web Production

Location: Fully remote from Canada, Brazil, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, or London, England, United Kingdom. Consistent overlap with the collaboration window of 8:00am to 12:00pm EST is required.

What you will do

• Build and redesign the operating system that turns marketing requests into live landing pages, checkouts, funnels, upsells, and technical changes.
• Standardize briefs, Definitions of Ready and Done, prioritization rules, production lanes, escalation paths, and change-control processes.
• Evaluate and embed AI coding tools, AI page builders, no-code platforms, reusable components, templates, and automation into production workflows.
• Plan capacity and dependencies across development, design, copy, video, tracking, and approvals.
• Introduce upstream quality controls, self-QC, independent final QC, automated testing, defect tracking, and root-cause improvements.
• Lead the production team, develop capability, and build reporting for cycle time, throughput, quality, rework, blockers, and AI-assisted delivery.

Requirements

• Significant experience improving operations for a web development, digital production, or growth technology team.
• Experience reducing delivery time, increasing throughput, or improving first-pass quality in an environment where development speed affects revenue.
• Strong understanding of landing pages, ecommerce funnels, checkouts, upsells, CRO testing, and conversion-focused web production.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, analytics, tracking, page builders, and modern web development workflows.
• Experience implementing AI tools or automation in a real production environment, plus experience with intake processes, acceptance criteria, capacity planning, and quality control.
• Ability to communicate with and challenge marketers, copywriters, designers, media buyers, developers, and senior stakeholders using operational data.

Nice to have

• Experience with direct-response ecommerce and high-volume web production.
• Experience with Shopify, Checkout Champ, Figma, landing page builders, CRO testing, and marketing analytics.
• Formal qualifications are not required when relevant outcomes are demonstrated.

• The first 30 days focus on mapping the current request-to-launch process, establishing a baseline, and creating a prioritized improvement roadmap.
• By 60 days, the role is expected to establish standardized intake, readiness criteria, capacity visibility, pilot AI-assisted workflows, and a live operating dashboard.
• By 90 days, the function is expected to show improved cycle time, delivery predictability, QC results, production visibility, and throughput.
