Software Engineer I (.NET/PHP)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain user interface controls, business logic, and SQL Server stored procedures.
• Implement new functionality according to hirify.global coding standards.
• Participate in agile backlog estimation, grooming, development planning, and process improvement.
• Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and debug application problems.
• Investigate third-level support requests and help ensure functional, user-friendly releases.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of relevant web application or services development experience.
• 1–3+ years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems.
• Strong skills in PHP, LINQ, SQL, unit testing, .NET, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with Knockout, Angular, Azure Cosmos DB, or another NoSQL database.
• Ability to research and solve complex problems while working with guidance from senior developers.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.

Nice to have

• Experience developing extensive systems with more than 500 database tables.
