Senior Fullstack Engineer (Localization)

Location: Berlin, Germany; office-first setup

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize localization solutions across product, CMS, CRM, marketing, and design systems.
• Improve the localization management platform by increasing visibility and control and reducing manual work.
• Embed automated language and quality checks into localization workflows before content reaches production.
• Build localization capabilities in partnership with Web and Mobile, Website, and Comms Platform teams.
• Explore AI and language technology to improve and future-proof the localization stack while supporting compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering background with Go, or experience with Python, Rust, or C++.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs in microservices or distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and event-streaming tools such as Kafka.
• Ability to translate non-technical priorities into scoped, shippable engineering work and operate independently across distributed systems.
• Exposure to React and TypeScript.
• Experience with translation management systems or localization of web, mobile, and other content platforms.
