Senior Software Engineer Frontend (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Munich, Germany; candidates are based in Munich or open to relocating within a maximum of 3 months.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a web-based robot programming platform using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Build modular features end-to-end across the Vue/TypeScript frontend and Django/Python backend through GraphQL.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, QA, and development teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly software.
• Apply frontend best practices for performance, code quality, testing, and user experience.
• Perform unit, integration, end-to-end, and hardware-in-the-loop testing with robotic arms, autonomous guided vehicles, and humanoid robots.
• Provide third-level support and resolve issues for project development teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of frontend development experience with modern frameworks such as Vue or React.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and basic Python skills.
• Experience with version control, collaborative software development platforms, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and reliability.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• On-site presence in Munich, Germany required, or relocation within a maximum of 3 months.

Nice to have

• Experience developing interfaces for industrial hardware or mission-critical systems.
• Knowledge of Django, Python, GraphQL, or Three.js.
• Experience with robotic systems, AI-based services, Figma, Adobe XD, Jira, or Confluence.
• Written and verbal German communication skills.
