Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Python)

Location: Remote employment in the United States only; available in CA, GA, NY, NC, TN, TX, and WA. San Francisco and New York City compensation bands are also specified.

Salary: $133,000–$267,000 per year in most remote locations; $166,000–$267,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY.

What you will do

• Build, test, and deploy software and infrastructure continuously.
• Create and contribute to technical specifications and testing and rollout plans.
• Build scalable infrastructure abstractions and product-platform tools across the full infrastructure stack.
• Work with internal customers and stakeholders to solve the right technical problems.
• Support production software and services and collaborate across engineering teams.
• Mentor and sponsor teammates while helping shape the future of engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Production experience with Python.
• Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform and AWS.
• Familiarity with the frontend ecosystem and frontend infrastructure tools.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and write well-structured, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills, plus demonstrated mentoring ability.
