Full Stack Web Developer (AWS)

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, fix, and enhance an AWS-hosted software application and its underlying PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop full-stack web applications using Vue, JavaScript, FastAPI, Python, and AWS RDS.
• Design and administer cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code networking, containerized applications, and microservices.
• Implement cloud resiliency, on-demand scaling, continuous integration and continuous development, and configuration management processes.
• Architect large-scale data solutions for efficient searching, analytics, reporting, and entity resolution.
• Support usability engineering, data permissions, IT security compliance, auditing, monitoring, and Assessment and Authorization activities.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must hold an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Demonstrated experience with Vue, JavaScript, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, microservices, and enterprise SecDevOps tools.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure administration, infrastructure-as-code networking, resiliency, scaling, containerized applications using Podman, and operating systems including FidOS and CLSE.
• Experience with large-scale data solutions, entity resolution, data permissions, configuration management, and IT security compliance.
• The position is expected to be performed onsite within the Washington Metropolitan Area, with local travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Certification in cloud architectures and services.
• Experience with JWICS, Kubernetes or AWS EKS, Confluence, Sigma, Analytic Workbench, and CookieCutter templates.
• Experience developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning systems at scale.
• Experience handling exceptional records and safeguarding U.S. person information.
