Head of IT & Security

Location: Athens, Greece; 3 days on site

Salary: €80,000–€100,000 per annum

What you will do

• Define and deliver the group-wide technology and cybersecurity strategy.
• Lead hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure, focusing on resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Drive cybersecurity, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity programmes.
• Oversee networks, workplace technology, internal IT operations, and major incident management.
• Manage vendors, technology investment, and strategic transformation roadmaps.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT and Security team while partnering with senior business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience across enterprise IT, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Strong architectural knowledge of hybrid environments, networking, identity management, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience leading production operations, major incidents, disaster recovery, and cyber risk programmes.
• Track record of delivering technology roadmaps, managing budgets, and driving strategic transformation.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, observability, and modern operational practices.
• Fluent English required; Greek is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
• CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, or ITIL certifications.
