Senior Manager, Information Protection Engineering (Cybersecurity): Leading enterprise information protection strategy and scalable controls for sensitive scientific, clinical, patient, and business data with an accent on DLP, data classification, encryption, cloud platforms, and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing security-by-design architectures, integrating controls across enterprise environments, and guiding engineering teams through risk-based cybersecurity decisions.
Location: Thessaloniki, Greece; hybrid work with attendance at the assigned office 2–3 days per week or as required by the business

What you will do
- Lead enterprise information protection strategy, reference architectures, technical standards, guardrails, and control frameworks.
- Design and oversee DLP, data discovery, classification, labelling, encryption, key management, secrets management, and AI information protection capabilities.
- Provide architectural guidance and design reviews for integrations across endpoints, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, enterprise applications, and collaboration tools.
- Embed security-by-design principles covering data handling, classification, retention, policy enforcement, and secure disposal.
- Partner with CISO, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, R&D, Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Security Operations, and Incident Response teams.
- Define effectiveness metrics, report risk and maturity trends, and translate NIST and regulatory requirements into implementable controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of cybersecurity or information protection experience involving enterprise-scale controls.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating DLP across endpoints, email, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools.
- Strong experience with data classification, labelling, policy enforcement, encryption, key management, and secure data handling.
- Experience integrating information protection controls into cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and complex regulated enterprise environments.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, digital, operations, and governance teams in an agile environment.
Nice to have
- Pharmaceutical or life sciences cybersecurity, regulatory, and risk management experience.
- Certifications such as CDPSE, CIPT, CIPP/E, CISSP, or CISM.
- Leadership or mentoring experience with information protection or security engineering teams.
- Knowledge of data lifecycle management and experience communicating risks and design decisions to senior stakeholders.
