Team Leader - Information Security Incident Response

What you will do

• Manage and mentor up to 10 Security Analysts, including workload planning, shift rotas and development reviews.
• Lead incident response and remediation as the primary escalation point, ensuring alerts are investigated within defined SLAs.
• Oversee forensic evidence collection and collaborate with Threat Management specialists on security simulations.
• Improve technical security controls, operating procedures, automation processes and performance reporting.
• Support 24/7 monitoring through out-of-hours escalation cover and assist with seasonal budget management.

Requirements

• Proven information technology experience, ideally in a corporate or retail environment.
• Experience leading teams, conducting performance reviews and planning resources.
• Strong understanding of information security concepts, including malware, attack vectors and emerging threats.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS or ISO 27001 and relevant security certifications.
• Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and senior management under pressure.
• Flexibility to support peak trading periods and unsociable or out-of-hours work.
