Cyber Security Analyst (SIEM)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Fully remote work with office attendance monthly; requires UK Citizenship or EU (27) Citizenship and the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Monitor networks and security systems for suspicious activity as part of a frontline 24x7 team.
• Analyze SIEM reports, alerts, tickets, and system, network, and security monitoring logs.
• Triage events, determine attack types, and handle incidents across online and on-premises infrastructures.
• Record incidents in the case management platform with detailed triage information, artifacts, and captured IOCs.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and administration of security tools and rules to reduce false positives.
• Analyze datasets, identify gaps, and communicate recommended fixes to the RTO lead analyst.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Forensics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in IT security monitoring and analysis, cyber threat analysis, or vulnerability analysis.
• Multiple years of industry experience with SOC systems, incident identification, incident handling, and false-positive reduction.
• Technical understanding of computing protocols, authentication mechanisms, and attack TTPs.
• Experience securing Windows, Linux, Oracle, and virtual machine platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English; UK or EU citizenship and eligibility for UK Security Clearance required.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCIA, or an equivalent GIAC certification.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work independently under pressure.
