TL;DR
Level 3 Azure Cloud Engineer (Azure/Terraform/Kubernetes): Designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient Microsoft Azure infrastructure with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, serverless technologies, automation, and observability. Focus on managing AKS workloads, building CI/CD pipelines, implementing cloud security controls, and optimising production environments for performance and cost efficiency.

What you will do
- Design, deploy, manage, and continuously improve scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient Azure environments.
- Develop modular and reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions, primarily with Terraform, to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Deploy, administer, and optimise Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and containerised workloads.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, security, compliance, and cost-optimisation practices across Azure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, security, and other technical stakeholders while providing technical guidance.
Requirements
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, AKS, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Functions, Virtual Network, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and familiarity with Bicep or ARM templates.
- Experience with Azure networking, security, identity, access control, secrets management, and Windows and Linux administration.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana.
- Approximately three to five years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related technical role, preferably focused on Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, or comparable industry certifications, including AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or CKA.
