AI Prompt Engineer (AMER – Remote)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated AI workflows with Activepieces or comparable automation platforms.
• Connect AI models with business applications using webhooks, APIs, and conditional logic.
• Design, test, and refine prompts, including multi-step prompting, few-shot prompting, RAG contexts, and structured outputs.
• Implement LLM observability with Langfuse or similar tools to monitor traces, cost, latency, and production issues.
• Analyze model behavior, run A/B tests, and improve accuracy and operational efficiency using data-driven insights.
• Create documentation and guidelines for automation and prompt engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Experience building complex automations with Activepieces, Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Hands-on experience with Langfuse, LangSmith, Helicone, or similar LLM observability tools.
• Deep experience crafting and fine-tuning prompts and working with AI language models such as GPT-4, Llama 3, or Claude 3.5.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or API-first development.
• Ability to interpret model outputs and systematically optimize performance using observability data.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
