Software Developer (SAP/ABAP)

Location: Remote role associated with Cluj-Napoca, Romania

What you will do

• Support clients using the Core Banking Suite and additional modules.
• Learn service, incident, escalation, and change management in an agile environment.
• Develop programming skills through structured onboarding in SAP and ABAP.
• Work with experienced mentors to grow into an independent banking technology expert.
• Contribute to international banking projects in a client-facing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, or ABAP.
• Understanding of programming logic, object-oriented programming, data structures, and problem-solving.
• Advanced German, at least B2/C1, is required for work with German-speaking clients.
• Advanced English skills are required.
• Fast learning ability, structured analytical thinking, ownership, reliability, and willingness to work with clients.

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience in software development.
• Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, or enterprise applications.
• Interest in banking, finance, or large-scale systems.
