Director, Communications Technology & Insights

Location: USA - Remote, or onsite at the Boston office; travel estimated at 25%–30%.

Annual salary: $140,000–$200,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop and drive the enterprise Communications Technology strategy, including system gaps, integrations, automation, standardization, and AI enablement.
• Own the CommTech ecosystem from solution selection and implementation through governance, optimization, lifecycle management, and sustainability.
• Oversee communications platforms, monitoring and measurement tools, AI-enabled analytics or content solutions, and the enterprise media CRM.
• Build dashboards, analytics pipelines, measurement frameworks, and enterprise communications KPIs.
• Standardize workflows, adoption practices, governance models, training pathways, and continuous-improvement processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in communications technology, digital systems, analytics, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience owning enterprise-scale technology platforms, SaaS governance, large-scale implementations, and change management.
• Expertise with communications platforms, media CRMs, monitoring and analytics tools, data governance, integrations, taxonomies, and metadata structures.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI, automation, or machine-learning tools in Communications or Marketing.
• Experience working in highly matrixed, global organizations.
