Senior Director, Enterprise Communications

Location: USA-CA-Irvine-Park Plaza; preferred hubs include Irvine, CA; Denver, CO; Calgary, AB, Canada; and Houston, TX. Remote applicants will be considered. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 USD annually, plus a 20% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide communication and change strategies supporting organizational, technology, operational, and cultural transformation.
• Translate business strategy into narratives, executive messaging, speeches, presentations, and leadership engagement plans.
• Advise executive and senior leaders through transformation, acquisitions, crises, business milestones, and organizational change.
• Strengthen employee engagement, trust, culture, belonging, and alignment across a diverse global workforce.
• Build communication governance, planning processes, editorial calendars, measurement frameworks, and operating rhythms.
• Advance communications technology and innovation, including AI-enabled tools, data-driven personalization, and performance measurement.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in communications and public relations leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience advising, coaching, and partnering with executive and senior-level leaders across functions, businesses, or countries.
• Expertise in change communication, project management, prioritization, creative problem-solving, writing, and editing.
• Experience leading or supporting large-scale communications initiatives and managing competing priorities across time zones and global teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Prior public company experience, either directly or through an agency.
• Experience with Adobe, Canva, ClickUp, SharePoint, Poppulo, Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, or Business Wire.
• AP style expertise.
