Salesforce Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in the United States; must be based in the United States and currently not hiring in Hawaii

Salary: $152,000–$176,700 annual base salary with equity; no bonus

What you will do

• Design Salesforce systems that support patient, clinician, insurance, and operations workflows.
• Architect secure, monitored, and recoverable integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Build, review, and debug Salesforce code and automation, choosing between code, configuration, or external solutions.
• Design durable data models and define system ownership when multiple platforms manage related information.
• Explain technical tradeoffs and align teams with competing priorities.
• Establish technical standards through design reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years accountable for architecture decisions on large or complex implementations.
• Hands-on Salesforce coding, automation, debugging, and configuration experience.
• Experience designing integrations, data models, and system-of-record strategies.
• Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders and reach agreement across teams.
• Experience setting technical standards through reviews, documentation, or mentoring.
• Must be based in the United States; Hawaii is currently excluded.

Nice to have

• Multi-instance Salesforce experience with Health and Data Cloud or Data 360.
• Experience in HIPAA-compliant or regulated environments and data security best practices.
• Experience with version-controlled automated Salesforce deployments and release-process improvement.
• Experience evaluating build, configure, or buy decisions.
• Salesforce architecture or development certifications.
