Location: Hybrid role with three days per week in the office at offices in Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, and Lewiston. Preference is given to candidates within commuting distance of the Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, and Lewiston offices or willing to relocate.
Salary: $152,000–$192,000 expected annual hiring range in Utah; ranges vary by work location. A 20% bonus target applies in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho.

What you will do
- Advise business executives and IT leaders on solutions for complex business and technical problems.
- Design technology solutions using reference architectures, design patterns, and project requirements.
- Shape future technical strategies, technology roadmaps, and enterprise architecture direction.
- Lead architecture and implementation across multiple product teams and transformation initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements, data access, systems integration, security, recovery, and implementation strategies.
- Document and govern architecture quality, estimate project resources and timelines, and mentor developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 12 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years of technical leadership and architecture experience.
- At least 7 years of evaluating business requirements and designing complete systems solutions in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare insurance technologies, regulations, payer processes, and systems.
- Experience with complex systems integration, disparate data sources, large-scale problem solving, and writing code.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in the health insurance industry and payer-oriented processes and systems.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
