Finance Systems & Automation Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote - US. Travel to company offsites is required at least twice per year.

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 plus equity.

Develops mobile-first financial products and machine learning-powered credit models using real-time financial signals to expand access to fair credit.

What you will do

• Automate accounting close workflows, including reconciliations, variance analysis, flux commentary, and close schedules.
• Pull, clean, and join NetSuite, subledger, and other financial data for reconciliation work.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for Accounting and Finance.
• Partner with BI on financial data models, trace dbt and SQL logic, and validate outputs against the general ledger.
• Prepare audit and PBC requests and document processes and queries.
• Troubleshoot failed data loads, broken reports, reconciliation breaks, and finance-system issues across NetSuite, Aleph, and AP automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data-focused work.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and aggregations, plus working knowledge of dbt models, sources, and lineage.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with an ERP such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Ability to test changes end-to-end, investigate data issues, manage concurrent projects, and communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be based in the US; willingness to travel to company offsites at least twice per year is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting logic.
• CPA certification or active CPA studies.
