Senior Associate (In Vivo)

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; onsite in vivo research at the Thousand Oaks site

What you will do

• Plan and execute in vivo research experiments and studies supporting obesity programs.
• Perform all in-life components of rodent studies, including handling, restraint, dosing, health assessment, and necropsy.
• Support multiple ongoing studies and coordinate study activities with the in vivo team.
• Acquire, organize, analyze, and quality-control study data.
• Prepare graphs, presentation decks, reports, and study documentation.
• Process, inventory, and track study samples.

Requirements

• Master’s degree; or a bachelor’s degree with approximately 2 years of hands-on in vivo experience; or an associate degree with approximately 4 years of experience; or a high school diploma/GED with approximately 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with rodents in a preclinical research setting.
• Experience with multiple dose administration routes, health status assessment, necropsy, and sample preparation or processing.
• Experience calculating mass and molar dose concentrations.
• Experience with Excel and GraphPad Prism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a long-term commitment to in vivo pharmacology and research animal care.
