Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs-Thoracic Oncology/Pan (NY, VT, NH, ME) (Oncology/Medical Affairs): Exchanging scientific and clinical information with oncology healthcare professionals, researchers, payers, and key opinion leaders across a field territory with an accent on thoracic malignancies, evidence generation, and medical strategy. Focus on developing KOL relationships, supporting clinical research, presenting compliant scientific data, and collecting medical and competitive intelligence.

Location: Field territory covering New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine; residency in the assigned territory is required.

Salary: $176,100–$287,300 annually.

What you will do

  • Exchange scientific, clinical, and medical information with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, researchers, pharmacists, payers, and population-based decision makers.
  • Serve as a clinical and scientific resource on disease states and products.
  • Build and maintain peer relationships, expert networks, and engagement plans within thoracic oncology and solid tumors.
  • Support company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies, identify research gaps, and inform medical strategy.
  • Present scientific and clinical data compliantly and respond to medical information requests.
  • Attend medical conferences to collect and report scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence to internal partners.

Requirements

  • Terminal scientific degree required: MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM.
  • At least 8 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in an Oncology Medical Science Liaison function.
  • Required knowledge or experience in oncology; experience with thoracic malignancies is preferred.
  • Established thoracic oncology KOL relationships and knowledge of solid-tumor institutions are preferred.
  • Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA and pharmaceutical regulations, compliant practices, and OIG guidelines.
  • Must reside in the assigned territory and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
