Yard Supervisor

What you will do

• Supervise daily yard operations and support yard staff in delivering customer service.
• Schedule employees, monitor productivity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Oversee vehicle loading, fleet management, preventive maintenance, and yard and facility upkeep.
• Support security and loss prevention, maintain yard fencing, and respond to alarm calls as needed.
• Manage supplies and inventory, purchase supplies, and maintain confidential documentation.
• Handle employee and customer service issues while enforcing company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma required; some college or more is preferred.
• Basic automotive mechanics knowledge and a valid driver's license.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Suite experience, plus inventory management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, direct and train others, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work occasional overtime.
