Income & Franchise Tax Manager (SALT)

Location: Bellevue, WA; San Francisco, CA; or San Jose, CA. Hybrid work with 3 days onsite per week.

Salary: $138,000–$172,500 per year plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects for multiple clients.
• Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
• Perform tax research and prepare technical memoranda and client communications.
• Assist clients with state tax audits and manage engagement deadlines and deliverables.
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
• Support client relationships and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of progressive state income tax or SALT experience.
• Active California CPA license, active law license with a JD, or IPT certification.
• Strong knowledge of state income and franchise taxation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
