Contracting Specialist

What you will do

• Process new contracting paperwork for agents, including saving, reviewing, and validating incoming contracts.
• Verify required documentation, agent hierarchies, appointments, and any additional contracting needs.
• Submit contracting paperwork through applicable carrier portals or other approved methods and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Support agents by phone, email, and in person; create service requests and coordinate issue resolution with carriers.
• Assist with new business applications, enter application information into carrier websites, and complete cross-training assignments.
• Train new hires, temporary employees, and current staff while supporting special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to process and accurately review contracting documentation.
• Ability to verify supporting documents, appointments, and hierarchy information.
• Customer service and communication skills for phone, email, and in-person agent support.
• Ability to coordinate with insurance carriers and track service requests through resolution.
• Ability to enter application data into carrier websites and support training activities.
