Location: Brooklyn, NY, with field-based community work covering Kings County; required to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $23.23–$39.61 per hour

What you will do

• Educate and assist consumers with enrollment in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans, and Health & Recovery Plan coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace.
• Explain eligibility, tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, plan benefits, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, and Marketplace metal tiers.
• Support new applications, renewals, recertifications, document submission, premium payments, and follow-up on enrollment leads.
• Enter applicant demographics, enrollment information, and primary care provider selections into the required CRM and monitor application dashboards.
• Conduct community outreach, public education presentations, ACA forums, workshops, and community events.
• Protect confidential and protected health information while following ACA, regulatory, conflict-of-interest, privacy, and security requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in managed care, sales, customer service, or a related area is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate CRM records are required.
• Must complete and pass the NY State of Health approved training program and all required annual recertification courses.
• Customer service, healthcare, enrollment counseling, health navigation, community outreach, public speaking, or field sales experience is preferred.
• Comfort with field-based travel throughout Kings County and availability for occasional evenings and weekends are required.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu skills.
• Salesforce experience.
• Driver’s license, preferred for NYC counties.
