Analyst, Commercial Credit and Risk

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Support the administration of the Management Credit Committee, Directors Credit Committee, and related credit governance forums.
• Prepare committee agendas, materials, approvals, action items, management reports, presentations, and governance documentation.
• Maintain governance records, trackers, policies, charters, approval authorities, and reporting processes.
• Perform quality control reviews to identify inaccuracies, approval gaps, and process exceptions.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, issue remediation, and governance evidence requests.
• Develop dashboards, analytics, procedures, templates, workflow automation, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in lending, credit administration, risk management, governance, audit, compliance, banking operations, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of commercial or consumer lending, credit risk, banking operations, or governance processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and related productivity tools.
• Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify; offers are contingent on credit, criminal background, and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Experience with reporting, analytics, policy administration, committee support, or regulated financial services.
• Interest in process enhancement, automation, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
