TL;DR

Focus on analyzing customer and supplier tax operations, reconciling tax books with the general ledger, managing import tax credits, and maintaining statutory obligations.

Location: Taubaté, Brazil; onsite plant-based role

What you will do

  • Coordinate the plant tax team and external tax service provider to achieve tax compliance goals.
  • Guide and train the team on tax legislation, SAP activities, invoice entry, data analysis, documentation, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Analyze customer and supplier tax operations and determine the correct tax treatment.
  • Coordinate calculations for ICMS, ICMSST, and IPI, reconcile tax books with the general ledger and SYCHRO, and prepare payment bills.
  • Prepare financial statements and statutory reports for federal, state, and municipal authorities.
  • Manage import tax credits, support tax inspections and internal or external audits, and monitor changes in tax legislation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting Sciences.
  • Knowledge of tax legislation.
  • Experience with SAP tax-related activities, tax calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Ability to support compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 processes.
