TL;DR
Senior Accounting Analyst (Accounting/Finance): Managing end-to-end accounting, reconciliations, and local financial reporting for a global air-transport technology company with an accent on statutory compliance, balance-sheet accuracy, and coordination with European headquarters. Focus on preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports, resolving suspense and AP balances, supporting tax and audit activities, and maintaining reliable financial data.

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work with up to 2 days per week from home

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end accounting and financial bookkeeping, including non-tax invoices and bank reconciliations.
  • Review and reconcile suspense, balance sheet, accounts payable, payroll, tax, and anticipated-payment accounts.
  • Prepare local month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting with explanations for balances and corrective follow-up.
  • Maintain accounting reconciliations between corporate and statutory accounting standards.
  • Prepare census reports and other filings required by local legislation.
  • Support corporate income tax preparation, external tax audits, and internal audits while coordinating with headquarters, shared-service teams, providers, and approvers.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an active accounting environment, preferably in a medium-to-large international company with a matrix structure.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English at B2 level or above, in addition to Portuguese.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
  • Experience with an ERP platform, ideally Oracle or TOTVS Protheus.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, communication, autonomy, accountability, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CRC.
  • Spanish knowledge for interaction across the LATAM region.
