Operational Risk Program Manager (Banking)

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise and operational risk management programs.
• Execute and enhance the Operational Loss Program, including standards, procedures, training, guidance, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Execute the Operational Risk Scenario Analysis Program and coordinate scenario development with subject matter experts across the lines of defense.
• Partner with business stakeholders to apply risk governance structures, policies, methodologies, and enterprise standards consistently.
• Improve risk frameworks, reporting processes, data quality, and enabling tools through automation and industry best practices.
• Monitor emerging risks and prepare actionable reporting for senior management and risk governance committees.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in risk management, internal audit, SOX, financial institutions, or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking operations, regulatory requirements, risk management tools, and risk frameworks such as COSO ERM and Basel.
• Experience across one or more lines of defense, including banking operations, information technology, SOX, compliance, risk management, or audit.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
