What you will do

• Establish and monitor retail deposit compliance, quality control, and first-line-of-defense processes.
• Track changes to federal, state, and local regulations and assess their impact on retail banking policies and procedures.
• Maintain RCSA, KRI, and KPI frameworks to identify risks, measure performance, and strengthen controls.
• Coordinate compliance meetings, audit finding retests, exception reviews, QC trend analysis, and corrective actions.
• Test and document new policies and procedures on the Deposit Origination platform with Core Support and Deposit Operations.
• Prepare management reports, provide compliance guidance, coach bankers, and support compliance training.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of federal and state regulatory compliance and related banking laws.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or five to seven years of senior-level compliance and quality control experience.
• Experience with deposit account requirements, risk and control assessments, quality control monitoring, and regulatory findings.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations including FinCEN, BSA, FCRA, FDIC, OFAC, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg V, UDAP, privacy laws, and Dodd-Frank.
• Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas in a professional banking environment with occasional travel.
