Sr. Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, quality, scalability, maintainability, and operational health of core enterprise application systems.
• Translate business goals into technical designs, document trade-offs, and lead multi-engineer efforts from design through delivery.
• Develop and enhance full-stack features using React with TypeScript and Redux on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including schemas, stored procedures, performance, and data integrity.
• Modernize legacy codebases, implement automated unit and integration testing, and establish secure coding and code review standards.
• Design event-driven integrations and reliable asynchronous workflows, participate in on-call rotation, and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including full-stack and cloud-native development with ownership of a production system.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, Redux, SQL Server, Azure, and Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, and Boards.
• Experience critically reviewing AI-generated code and establishing verification standards for AI-assisted development.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing, secure coding aligned with OWASP Top 10, microservices, and SPA architecture.
• Ability to mentor engineers, raise technical standards, collaborate across departments, and work in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required; open to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI Embedded.
