What you will do

• Develop and produce live and taped guest segments for CNBC International.
• Generate original content ideas and identify compelling guests and sources.
• Conduct guest pre-interviews and arrange live interview appearances.
• Write broadcast copy and teases, and secure sound bites and video elements.
• Visualize and produce segments, contribute creative ideas, and develop show franchises.
• Assist line producers and maintain relationships with news sources.

Requirements

• Strong editorial judgment and knowledge of business and financial markets.
• Ability to work creatively and effectively under daily deadline pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
• Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays according to the production schedule.
• Experience booking and producing segments in a live television environment is valued, with 3 or more years of experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CNBC News standards.
• Experience at a financial news network.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
