TL;DR
Motion Design Lead (AI/3D): Creating high-fidelity motion graphics, 3D assets, cinematic environments, and spatial experiences for broadcast, web, advertising, and immersive digital experiences with an accent on AI-assisted workflows, visual storytelling, and premium 3D craft. Focus on integrating generative AI, neural rendering, look development, lighting, texturing, modeling, and rendering while driving motion strategy and technical innovation across creative teams.
Location: Remote within the United States; not available for hire or work in New Mexico or Hawaii.
Salary: $108,000–$142,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Develop motion design solutions for digital, web, advertising, video, broadcast, and immersive assignments.
- Concept, storyboard, design, and animate high-fidelity content, including motion graphics, 3D assets, cinematic environments, and spatial experiences.
- Integrate generative AI, neural rendering, automated rotoscoping, and pre-visualization into production workflows.
- Execute look development, lighting, texturing, modeling, and rendering for premium 3D deliverables.
- Partner with Creative Directors and multidisciplinary teams to turn visual concepts into final outputs.
- Drive motion strategy, quality control, technical innovation, and communication of visual and technical concepts to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of motion design experience with a strong emphasis on advanced 3D workflows in agency or production environments.
- Portfolio demonstrating conceptual ideas, motion graphics, and high-fidelity 3D VFX for advertising and digital campaigns.
- Technical mastery of Cinema 4D with Redshift or Octane, After Effects, and Figma, plus 3D generalist skills.
- Experience integrating AI platforms such as NanoBanana, Midjourney, Topaz, or Firefly into production pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with Creative Directors and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 or Unity and interactive motion platforms such as Lottie, Rive, or Spline.
- Advanced VFX experience in Houdini or Maya, AR/VR/XR spatial design, and audio/video editing tools.
