Organic Growth & Communications Lead (SEO/AI)

Location: Remote-flexible within the United States; headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 USD per year in cash compensation, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own organic search efforts from keyword research and technical SEO through content production, optimization, linking, and performance measurement.
• Develop GEO and AEO strategies to improve hirify.global’s visibility and authority in AI-powered search.
• Analyze data to identify trends around prayer, faith, culture, and the Church, turning insights into stories for journalists and audiences.
• Write and publish SEO pages, press releases, journalist pitches, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
• Test content formats, search strategies, conversion opportunities, PR angles, and AI-search initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Design, Product, and Data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, content marketing, PR/communications, or a combination of these areas.
• Hands-on experience with keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, internal linking, technical SEO, link building, analytics, and related tools.
• Strong writing skills across SEO articles, journalist pitches, press releases, and landing pages.
• Interest in AI’s impact on search and marketing, with an ownership-oriented and highly independent working style.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AEO or AI and automation platforms such as n8n, Windmill, or Claude Code.
