Product Engineer (AI)

Location: London, on-site in Shoreditch

hirify.global builds AI-powered software workflows for certification bodies, notified bodies, and inspection companies, covering scheduling, resource planning, technical review, conformity assessment, field inspection, and document intelligence.

What you will do

• Own product surfaces end to end, including interfaces, supporting backend systems, and underlying data models.
• Build software for complex inspection, review, certification, and resource-planning workflows.
• Decide what to build, implement features, and ship to production from the first week.
• Work directly with customer documents, calls, and real-world outputs to understand and improve workflows.
• Build interfaces that support users handling dense, stateful processes with significant operational consequences.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating a difficult product used by real users; prototypes and course projects are not sufficient.
• Strong interface-building skills combined with the ability to work deeply on backend systems when required.
• Ability to understand complicated workflows and simplify them into shippable products.
• Fast execution, strong judgment, and clear opinions about what should not be built.
• Willingness to work with customer documents, participate in customer calls, and examine real outputs.

Nice to have

• Founder, co-founder, founding-team, or early-stage startup experience.
• Experience as an early engineer at a startup with a strong engineering culture.
• Experience with EF, YC, Antler, open-source maintenance, or defensible design judgment.
