Associate Underwriter (Insurance)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote; Central Time Zone schedule required

Salary: $26.10–$54.36 per hour, plus potential eligibility for the annual incentive plan

What you will do

• Underwrite admitted Special Event and Cyclist products, along with E&S Homeowners and dwelling products.
• Support underwriters with team workflows, email distribution, and referral management.
• Manage external agency partners, support profitable growth, and gather market feedback.
• Handle assigned projects and tasks autonomously from planning through completion.
• Lead shared resource inboxes while managing a personal inbox and participating in group projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of insurance experience or professional experience in a similar field.
• US work authorization is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Ability to work on a Central Time Zone schedule.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
• Experience managing agency relationships, preferably in wholesale insurance.
