Principal, Business Operations & Planning - Services (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California

Salary: $197,000–$266,000 annually, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and run the Services Operating System, including operating cadence, executive forums, governance mechanisms, and business reviews.
• Lead annual planning, priority setting, resource allocation, checkpoints, reprioritization, and course corrections across the Services portfolio.
• Develop curated performance metrics, scorecards, executive reporting, and data-driven performance narratives.
• Use AI tools to automate reporting, dashboards, analysis, and synthesis.
• Track decisions and commitments through owners, milestones, success measures, and early-warning mechanisms.
• Partner with leadership, HR, and Communications on all-hands, offsites, recognition, and organizational engagement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or management consulting in technology or SaaS environments.
• Deep expertise in operating cadences, planning processes, business reporting, KPIs, scorecards, and operational reviews for complex organizations.
• Strong problem-solving, resource allocation, financial planning, and quantitative analysis skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to present performance narratives to C-level audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional organizations without direct authority and drive follow-through.
• Creative and skilled use of AI tools for analysis, synthesis, communication, and operating-system design.
