Automotive manufacturer developing modern wire harness systems and vehicle interiors.

What you will do

• Check in, unload, inspect, sort, unpack, repack, and distribute incoming parts, goods, and materials.
• Book materials into and out of designated storage locations and perform stock-in, picking, staging, and retrieval activities.
• Compare quantities and identification data with accompanying documents, perform simple cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
• Use handheld scanners and powered industrial trucks, including turret, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts, to move materials within the plant.
• Prepare and forward packing slips, bills of lading, hazardous-material documents, and other transport documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping according to 6S principles, complete PIT inspections, follow safety guidelines, and ensure timely material delivery.

Requirements

• Ability to inspect materials for recognizable damage and make clear yes/no decisions.
• Ability to count, weigh, compare identification numbers, and enter basic data such as quantities and weights.
• Ability to operate or learn handheld scanners and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to follow storage, documentation, quality, environmental health, and safety procedures.
• Ability to cooperate with coworkers and maintain a safe, orderly work area.
