Chicago Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Manager (AI)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with in-person time in local hirify.global offices and on client sites, including local or out-of-state travel

Salary: $118,000–$189,000 annually, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $134,520–$215,460.

What you will do

• Lead technology audit and advisory engagements and oversee successful completion of project work plans.
• Assess technology risks and advise clients on cybersecurity, cloud assurance, IT general controls, technology resilience, data privacy, and regulatory topics.
• Develop audit methodologies and deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Apply analytics, AI, automation, and other tools to improve audit efficiency and insight.
• Manage, mentor, coach, and evaluate engagement teams while coordinating work across teams.
• Build client and business relationships, contribute to proposals, and pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in technology audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience leading IT audit methodology implementation and developing audit deliverables.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, or ITIL.
• Experience leading and developing teams, communicating technology risks to senior executives, and managing client relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, RPA solutions, and other analytics tools is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar professional certification.
• Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in AI and data governance, analytics, automation, privacy, disaster recovery, or emerging technologies.
