AEM Technical Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain enterprise-grade digital experiences with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, integrations, and front-end experiences.
• Implement Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, SPA Editor solutions, and headless delivery patterns.
• Configure and support author, publish, and Dispatcher tiers.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AEM deployments.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and collaborate with editors, content authors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position.
• Five or more years of AEM development experience; the position lists six or more years of overall experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, modern JavaScript, and build tools.
• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Adobe Certified AEM Developer credentials.
• Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Franklin/HLX.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-brand AEM deployments.
• Experience integrating AEM with Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
