Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid in Sidney, Ohio, USA, with office attendance required four days per week. Domestic and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Support new product development programs and ensure product releases meet program requirements.
• Lead process optimization initiatives to improve quality and operational performance.
• Validate prototype and production processes, methods, gauges, and instrumentation.
• Develop quality plans and control strategies, including process flow diagrams, value stream maps, PFMEAs, and control plans.
• Collect data, perform statistical analysis and measurement system analysis, and review and approve PPAP documentation.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities and resolve manufacturing, supplier, customer, and product-process quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, controls, or electrical engineering.
• ASQ Certified Green Belt.
• 5–7 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing and at least 3 years of quality engineering experience.
• Proficiency in GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Minitab or similar statistical software, ERP systems, and PLM systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Experience with new product development, product introduction, APQP, and PPAP.
• Knowledge of Tableau, DOMO, or similar analytics platforms.
• Leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration, changing priorities, constructive feedback, and results delivery.
