Senior Global Director - Commodities (Procurement)

Base salary: $210,880–$289,960 per year

What you will do

• Lead a global team of Global Commodity Directors and drive procurement strategy and performance.
• Own commodities P&L performance, supplier selection, sourcing decisions, and supplier panel optimization.
• Direct supplier value analysis/value engineering, cost benchmarking, commercial negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage commodity strategies, regular business reviews, new-business sourcing, and supplier leadership relationships.
• Lead cross-functional work across finance, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, legal, planning, programs, and manufacturing.
• Direct supplier risk assessment, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and initiatives that protect continuity of supply.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members while holding teams accountable for results and standards.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with employees, suppliers, and external customers.
• Strong personal and professional ethics and integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
