Quality Compliance Manager (Food & Beverage)

Location: West Los Angeles, California, USA; hybrid schedule with in-office work Monday-Wednesday and remote work available Thursday-Friday. Approximately 10% travel is required.

Salary: USD 117,000–135,000 per year, with a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage regulatory and market compliance for products entering domestic and international markets, including labeling requirements and market-entry readiness.
• Oversee product traceability, non-conforming product disposition, destruction documentation, and audit compliance.
• Analyze cost-of-quality data covering waste, rework, recalls, and non-conformance, and prepare executive dashboards.
• Manage EPR reporting, packaging data, recycling obligations, PCR documentation, certifications, and sustainability targets.
• Maintain quality and compliance systems aligned with ISO, HACCP, and food safety standards while supporting audits, inspections, and recall exercises.
• Partner with regulatory, legal, marketing, supply chain, sustainability, and third-party provider teams on risk mitigation and process improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to work from the West Los Angeles office Monday-Wednesday and work remotely Thursday-Friday.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quality, compliance, or regulatory roles within FMCG or beverage industries.
• Strong knowledge of international labeling and food safety regulations, including multi-country frameworks across Asia, the EU, APAC, and the US.
• Experience with cost-of-quality metrics, analytical reporting, and executive-level communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel approximately 10%.

• Experience with EPR, sustainability reporting, packaging compliance, and post-consumer recycled plastic requirements.
