Environmental Materials and EPR Program Compliance Manager (MedTech) (Materials Compliance/EPR): Leading global Product Stewardship compliance for electrical and electronic equipment, e-waste, batteries, packaging, plastics, environmental reporting, fees, and EPR take-back schemes with an accent on regulatory interpretation, data governance, and cross-functional execution. Focus on translating emerging global requirements into actionable business plans, coordinating registrations and reporting, and improving compliance dashboards, technology, and governance.

Location: Hybrid role based in Raynham, Massachusetts, United States; travel up to 10%, including occasional international collaboration.

Salary: $117,000–$201,250 annual base pay

What you will do

  • Lead global Product Stewardship compliance for electrical and electronic equipment, e-waste, batteries, packaging, plastics, reporting, fees, and EPR take-back schemes.
  • Monitor emerging global requirements, assess business impact, and translate regulations into actionable plans and stakeholder guidance.
  • Manage regulatory trackers, compliance dashboards, metrics, inventories, and leadership updates.
  • Lead the collection, validation, governance, reporting, and retention of materials and EPR data, including technology improvements.
  • Coordinate registrations, reports, fees, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and other compliance obligations with regional affiliates and business partners.
  • Develop policies, procedures, training, communities of practice, and industry or enterprise working-group engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in Product Stewardship, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of global materials compliance and EPR requirements, with experience implementing regulatory programs in industry.
  • Experience with regulatory data, reporting, dashboards, documentation, technology-enabled compliance solutions, and program governance.
  • Strong project management, influencing, facilitation, collaboration, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills in a global matrixed organization.
  • English proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree or professional certification such as RAC, environmental compliance, or sustainability certification.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with advocacy, trade associations, audits, inspections, compliance assessments, corrective actions, sustainability, circular economy, or environmental reporting.
  • Experience supporting global portfolios, acquisitions, or divestitures.
