What you will do

• Set up and operate electronic fruit sorting equipment.
• Perform equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts replacement.
• Maintain grading standards, calibrate automated equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Collect and evaluate fruit samples and complete downtime documentation.
• Keep electronic and mechanical equipment clean and in good operating condition.
• Load film and mesh materials, climb equipment safely, and follow fall-protection standards.

Requirements

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to perform light electro-mechanical troubleshooting and understand ratios, percentages, minimums, and maximums.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to interpret oral and written instructions and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs continuously and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates may need to pass math and computer tests.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
• Fruit knowledge or the ability to develop it.
• Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
