Sr Analyst II Software Engineering

What you will do

• Lead database testing and backend data validation efforts.
• Validate AWS source data and ensure correct PNR creation on PID data.
• Perform file-to-file comparisons, data reconciliation, and large-volume testing.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, transformations, and pipelines.
• Test REST APIs and cross-verify API responses with database data.
• Coordinate with development, data engineering, and QA teams; review test cases, strategies, and defects.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in database or backend testing.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and subqueries.
• Experience with file-to-file validation, data reconciliation, volume testing, and large data sets.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, plus AWS data validation and ETL or data migration validation.
• Experience with API testing, REST methods, JSON/XML validation, and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience leading testing teams and mentoring testers. Lead experience is preferred.
